Harvest Moon Wedding Photographer
For couples who don’t like having their photo taken.
Harvest Moon is one of my favourites, and honestly it's about as me as a venue gets. Out in the East Lothian countryside with the beach a short wander away, big open fields, bell tents, fire pits, and a properly relaxed, outdoorsy feel. If you're the sort of couple who'd rather be in wellies in a field than stuck inside a stuffy ballroom, this is your place and we're going to get on.
Here's how I'll shoot it. I keep things easy, blend in like a guest, and watch for the real moments rather than setting them up. Almost everything is candid, so you'll barely notice me. After the ceremony we'll go for a wee wander, maybe out into the fields, maybe down towards the sea, and I'll leave the two of you to enjoy it. No stiff posing, nothing cheesy.
A spot like Harvest Moon is built for a relaxed, outdoorsy day and a great party under the stars, and that's exactly what I love photographing. If the weather turns wild, even better. Some of my favourite coast and field photos have come out of proper Scottish weather.
If you want hours of formal portraits, I'm not your guy. But if you want real, natural photos of a brilliant outdoor day, and a photographer who'll stay till the party's in full swing, give me a shout.
“Best wedding photographer ever! Having Adam at our wedding was like having an old friend there that was taking incredible photos. He is so passionate about what he does and doesn’t disappear after the meal, so we got some great dancing photos. We are not a ‘photoshoot’ type couple.”
